Hi I'm Shandler Kidd

I grew up in Idaho. I love sunsets. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Shandler! I am from a tiny town in Idaho. I am currently playing college softball in Oregon. I love to talk, and talk a lot. I like all animals and people, but I love my family most. I have 4 siblings and seven nieces and nephews. I love being outside fishing, riding four-wheelers, or following my dad around. I love anything sports--playing, watching, or listening. You name it I am there. I love God and Jesus Christ, and I wouldn't be me without them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and was raised Mormon. When I was a freshman in high school I fell away for a couples of years and lived most of my high school career away from the church. I felt like I had a hole on my life and I knew what it was, but I couldn't/wouldn't admit it. With the help of some awesome young women's leaders I came back. The void in my life was filled and I gained a stronger testimony right then and there. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true because I have lived without it. I know what its like to live without it, and its dark and lonely. Having the gospel in my life brings peace, comfort, and joy to me during good times and bad. I wouldn't be who I am without it.

How I live my faith

I play on a college softball team, and I am the only Mormon. It is tough at times but I find myself sharing so much about the gospel. I also attend a YSA branch where I serve as the secretary in our women's group. I love this calling because I can reach out and share my love of the gospel with others.
