Hi I'm Jillian Ruby

I grew up in Colorado. I love nature, music, and sports. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I've played softball for 14 years, I'm going to BYU-Provo following my 18-month mission to Milan, Italy, where I will be majoring in business and finance with a double-minor in photography and elementary special education. I love sports and music. I've played the cello going on 8 years and am currently teaching myself how to play the piano. I come from a family of 15 children.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is the true church upon the Earth today. It is the one church on the Earth that has the FULLNESS of the gospel. I know that my Heavenly Father knows me and loves me personally and that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and died so that I might have the opportunity to return to live with Him. I'm a Mormon because I have felt the power of the Holy Ghost in my life and know that in order to live with my Father in Heaven I needed to be baptized and follow his commandments.

How I live my faith

As a youth I was often called as class president or in the Young Women's presidencies. After moving to Alice Springs, Australia I was called as the Young Single Adults Female Representative; while in this position I helped plan activities for single adults between the ages of 18-30. I held that calling for the 8 months that I lived in Alice. Upon my return to Colorado I was called as a ward missionary. I try my best to volunteer at a local Connections for Life center where food and services are provided for those in need.
