Hi I'm Annika Sylvia

Im a small town girl from Buhl Idaho, and I love to sing in the rain. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am so happy to be here on the earth! I love my family and I feel especially blessed to have a twin Sister. I love spending time with family and friends and talking about things that matter. God has blessed me in every way, and I want to live my life the best I can to give him something back. Singing is a passion of mine, I like to see it as a way that I can help other people feel of Gods love...I love how music can touch us in a unique way so specific to our personal life. In High School my sister and I ran Cross Country with my Dad as my coach and my Mom and four brothers as my biggest cheer leaders. I know that God loves each of his children, and I love finding ways to share that with the people around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because God loves me. That is something I have known for as long as I can remember, and it was the first thing this church gave to me. To know that the God who has not only the power to create me, but the stars in the sky is my father and loves me specifically as his child is empowering. Because of this love, he has given the world light and truth, the fullness of which is found only in his Church. Because of him I can be with my family forever. Because of him I can look to and follow the Guidance of a Prophet on the earth today. Because of him I can know of the priesthood and the authority by which it comes. Only in this church are all those truths together in their pure state. I have felt that these blessings are real and are of God as testified to me many times by the Holy Spirit. I know that he gives us these blessings and asks us to share them because he loves us! We are all priceless in his estimation, and he gave us the sacrifice of his son, Jesus Christ, so that we could return and live with him forever.

How I live my faith

I have served for my church organizing Monday night activities for Young adults like myself, as well as serving as an assistant camp director for the youth girls camp. I have learned so much in these positions and am looking forward to serving in the Laie Hawaii Temple Visitors Center as a full time missionary for the Church.
