Hi I'm Tylor

I grew up in the US. I've been a Mormon my whole life. I've been called to serve in the Chile Santiago East mission.

About Me

I'm the oldest of 7 kids. I recently graduated high school and now I'm about to leave on my mission. I love sports, especially running and ultimate frisbee. I also love music, and I've played the piano, guitar, and I've sang in choir. My most interesting job has been being a dental assistant. After my mission, I plan to go to college and hopefully start a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church. The reason I have stayed in the church my whole life is because I believe in the gospel that I've been taught. Being a Mormon has helped me find happiness in my life. It has blessed me so much, and it has helped me to view this life in a more eternal perspective. This gospel teaches about forgiveness through Jesus Christ. So whenever I've done something wrong, I've always been able to repent and have those sins washed away. Of course the repentance process isn't easy, but it's possible, and it's available to everyone. Being a member of the Mormon church brings a special spirit into your life, and you are able to experience more joy and happiness than you ever could've imagined. It just feels right to be a part of this church.

How I live my faith

I love attending church every Sunday. It's a great atmosphere filled with amazing, kind people. I try to the best of my ability to be an example of what I believe. I go home teaching every month where I can visit people who are active members, inactive, and even nonmembers. Regardless of who we're visiting, we have a goal to love them all with a Christ-like love, and to help them with anything they may be in need of. I have served in various church callings, and I do my best to fulfill those callings as best I can. This has included being a youth group leader, where I have the opportunity to reach out a little more to be a friend to all the youth and to make sure they all feel included. I've also worked as a primary teacher, where I get to help young children understand and learn about the gospel. It's been a unique experience teaching them, as I've been able to learn how to teach complex topics in the simplest of terms. The knowledge of these children at such an early age humbles me and reminds me that anybody can come to accept and understand the gospel if they truly desire to. I've also worked as an ordinance worker in the Boise Temple, which has helped me come to realize the importance of sacred, life saving ordinances such as baptism and temple sealings. I also try to serve whenever I get the chance, and I've participated in numerous service projects, including an Eagle scout project that I planned and carried out on my own.
