Hi I'm Emily

I was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, but have lived in Utah for the majority of my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from High School in 2015 and attended my freshman year of college as a Presidential Ambassador for my school. I love meeting new people and getting to know them and their interests. I have recently found a new love of snowboarding. School is very important to me and I am excitedly majoring in Math Education. My time is usually spent surrounded by my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it brings more joy, happiness, and peace into my life than I have found anywhere else. I have seen family members fall away to very dark places. Witnessing their lives without the gospel present breaks my heart because I know that they are missing the most beautiful gift we have been given. Jesus Christ and His restored gospel can heal all pains and sufferings. Keeping the commandments that God has given us can bless our lives beyond measure. I know that life is hard, but every hardship we are given is simply sent to us to help us grow and become more like Him. I know through prayer, spiritual experiences, and distinct confirmations that this church is God's church. If we follow the guidelines He has given to us through our Prophets, we can be blessed and return to Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an active member in my church congregation and showing care and concern for those in my community. I have committed to devoting the next 18 months of my life to sharing my beliefs, which I have come to find as absolute truths, with others. By doing this I will serve my Heavenly Father and brothers and sisters as best as I possibly can.
