Hi I'm Trevor

I grew up in Northern California. I enjoy reading and playing lots of volleyball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Florida and lived there until I was four years old and then moved to California. I started playing volleyball in the 7th grade and stuck with it ever since, I LOVE the sport. I'm the fourth of six kids with 3 sisters and 2 brothers, with both of my brother's being married. I attend BYU as I pursue a Civil Engineering degree. I enjoy hiking, ultimate frisbee, ping pong, and water polo all as hobbies as well as reading and playing the guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the biggest reasons I believe in this gospel is the comfort that it brings me. There are a lot of times in our lives that things can seem like they've gone south and aren't coming back or that our daily struggles just won't seem to end, but I've been through those kind of times and prayed to for peace, for some sort of deliverance from my trials. Sometimes that prayer is answered and I immediately understand a way to solve what's going on, other times the simple answer is to just hang on, endure to the end, and you'll be blessed. Knowing that my life will be filled with blessings if I follow God's commandments is something that I always want to have in my life, and that's why I choose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I help plan activities that my ward would put on, such as talent shows and game nights. I teach my fellow members about what our prophet and apostles have instructed us to do and converse with them so that we both are taught, rather than just one of us.
