Hi I'm Kayson

I love to bow hunt, love sports especially baseball. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am preparing to serve in the California Ventura Mission. I've grown up a small town boy. I love anything outdoors, especially hunting and camping. In high school I ran cross-country and played baseball. We won the 2A baseball state championship which taught me just how hard I have to work to achieve something. I have worked for a small equipment store for a couple summers and have learned how to stay on task and to get something down. I am also an Eagle Scout.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this gospel is true. I have taken the Book of Mormon challenge and found out for myself that the Book of Mormon is true. I have lived in the gospel my whole life and sometimes have taken it for granted. Whenever I see people that do not have the gospel in their life, I am truly grateful that I grew up knowing about it. As I have been preparing to serve I have gotten the chance to go with the missionaries that are currently serving in our area. Being able to do this has helped me to see the gospel in a whole new light. These missionaries are giving these individuals hope that there is something better in life. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it is the keystone of our religion.

How I live my faith

Throughout the different quorums that I have served in, I have done many service projects. These have ranged from just visiting rest homes to sing Christmas songs to full on weed weeding projects. Also, in Priests quorum we do home bound, which gives me a chance to talk with the elderly in our ward.
