Hi I'm Brittany Wagner

I'm from Minnesota, I am currently serving a mission in the Georgia Macon Mission. I love some animals, swimming, shopping &family

About Me

My parents moved our family to a fishing resort when I was 10 years old. We rent cabins, RV sites, and own and operate a bar. Some people might find it odd that a mormon family owns a bar, but we've been doing it for 12 years. There are many challenges with owning a resort and a bar, but we are grounded in what we believe. We make sacrifices, but we always put God first. Besides helping my family at our resort, I love everything about health and medicine. I am in college to become a nurse. I work at a hospital, and I love everything about the hospital. Helping and serving people is something I love to do especially in the hospital.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of this church, because I can feel and see the happiness it brings me throughout my life. I have met wonderful people all around the world through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This church is full of people who all have different strengths as a person. When we are weak in something someone else is strong, and can help us with what we need. It builds our faith and our testimony. This world is full of sadness, disappointment, unanswered questions, and other hardships. We also know happiness, love, peace, and good things of this world. When we are suffering we can turn to our Father in Heaven who understands everything we go through. We can pray to him, and he can help us. The same goes for the happy things we experience. Our Savior Jesus Christ also knows exactly how these experiences feel. We are never alone in this world. My bishop once told me "the church is not a country club, it is a hospital." This church is for everyone. We are all here on this earth to help each other, and teach one another. Our goal is to make it back to our Father in Heaven. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ amen.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through everything I do. When I am working in the hospital I comfort people, I serve them, and go the extra mile. I smile, and stay positive in hard situations. I work with children a lot in church. I teach children that are between the ages of 3 and 4. When I am working at my parents resort, I try to help everyone who comes through our door. Service is a huge way for me to be able to live my faith.
