Hi I'm Justin

I grew up in Seattle. I'm a chemistry major at BYU. I love the outdoors and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a chemistry major at Brigham Young University. I love hiking and camping, and have been on weeklong backpacking, hiking, canoeing, and biking trips. I played the saxophone in High School and gained a love for music. I love sports, and the Olympics are one of my favorite events. I love to run, and enjoyed competitive running in high school. I love loud music, summer nights, and lakes.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the only completely true church on the Earth today. I know that Joseph Smith really did see God and Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that our Heavenly Father knows and loves you perfectly, and individually. I know that when we follow his commandments, we are happier. I know that we have the same organization that existed when Christ was the head of the church on Earth, and I know that Christ continues to be the head of our church through our modern day prophet, Brigham Young. This is a church of love and happiness, and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am currently a full time missionary for the church and am preaching the gospel in Iowa. I am excited to serve. In college, I taught and presided over the education program (Sunday School) in my ward. I have also been a youth leader of multiple age groups. As a missionary, I teach anybody and everybody I can about the gospel, and try to help them feel my Savior's love for them.
