Hi I'm Sister Daryl Kaufusi

I'm from Provo, Utah. I love the outdoors, I love to play sports and I love this Gospel! I have an amazing family and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am 19 years old and I absolutely love spending time with my family and friends. Not only that but I love being outdoors. If there's a Mountain in sight, I'll go hike it regardless of the weather conditions! From fishing, to camping, to hammocking, being outdoors is a must! I love to exercise and play sports. I grew up playing lots of sports, but my main focus was soccer. I am currently a full-time Missionary training to serve the People of Daejeon, South Korea. I am beyond excited to do the Lord's Work and help bring others closer to Christ. I have an amazing Family that the Lord has blessed me with and I hold them dear to my heart. I love to eat food, laugh, and to have a good time!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are LDS so growing up I was constantly surrounded by the Mormon Faith 24/7. The only thing is that the older I got, the more I realized I couldn't depend on my Church Leader's and Parent's testimonies anymore. In high school, I had some non-lds friends who would ask me questions about the Church and of course I answered, but then I realized how can I teach people about the Gospel if I don't even know for myself whether it's true or not? So I had to find out for myself if this Church was really true. One night I knelt down and began to pray. I asked God to help me know if it was true. After, almost instantly I knew that it was the true church and what flooded my mind was memories of all the times I have felt the Holy Spirit testify to me throughout my life that this was the true church! I could not deny the feelings I felt, or the manifestations I have come to know. My heart was so full and then I began to read the Book of Mormon. I was hesitant at first because I was slow to believe that it really helped strengthened people's testimonies or that it really was a true book. But as I began to read, I found myself becoming closer to Jesus Christ, and I began to understand it and the lessons that come from it. I now know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ and is the keystone to our religion. I love that book with all my heart and it has strengthened my testimony so much. I am a firm believer of learning by example. Jesus Christ set the example for us, and I know that if we are living the Gospel and living righteously, we can touch other people's lives through our example. This Gospel has brought me so much comfort, peace and happiness. I know that through our Savior Jesus Christ, we can become clean, and be able to return to live with our Heavenly Father and Him again. I'm so grateful to know that families can be together forever, and that this Church can bring all of us true happiness.

How I live my faith

The best way I try to live my faith is by following the example of Jesus Christ. By doing service and helping people in the community, it benefits the people you are serving and it benefits you! Doing service makes me happy and living a fun, righteous, ambitious life brings me joy.
