Hi I'm Malacie

I have lived all over the world. I run cross country for BYU-Hawaii. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am very big into the outdoors and athletics. I love exercising and being in nature. I have run cross country for the past 6 years of my life. Four of the years have been in high school and the other 2 have been in college. I am constantly trying to be outside and exercising. I love backpacking, mountain biking, running, hiking, etc. I am currently working at a zipline where I take people on tours. Being outside and athletics is definitely something that defines me. I love being in nature and seeing all of the wonderful creations that our Heavenly Father has made for us.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in this church. When I was 8 years old, I chose to be baptized and to become a Mormon. I chose to take upon the name of Christ, to always remember Him, and to keep his commandments. Everything we do in this church is directed back to our Savior, Jesus Christ. That is why this church is called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is His church on the Earth. I want to follow my Savior, Jesus Christ. I want to be on His side and do as he did. I followed him by being baptized when I was 8 years old and I continue to follow him everyday by keeping those promises I made to Him.

How I live my faith

I have recently been called to serve a mission in Scotland and Ireland. I am leaving on June 14th and will be serving for a period of 18 months. I am so excited to go serve these people. I will be teaching the Scottish and Irish people about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I live my faith everyday by striving to be the best that I can be. On my mission, I will be doing the same. I will be trying to lift others up. That is what this gospel is all about; lifting others up through Christ.
