Hi I'm Alyssa Cable

I grew up in Utah and have loved every minute of it. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Me and my family love everything sports-related. I've grown up watching Thursday night football, the World Series, and March Madness. My favorite sport though is tennis, I love to play at our local courts every chance I get. I also grew up playing the piano and can remember countless days of playing for three or four hours straight. I am an Engineering student at Utah State University in Logan, Utah and love to spend time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I don't remember exactly when I gained a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but I do remember times when that testimony was strengthened. Everyone faces trials in their life that makes them feel like they can't go on or they don't know where to go next. Each time that has happened to me, I have turned to my Savior, Jesus Christ, and He has helped guide me through. I know that He loves me and that he will always be there for me. And because He loves me, He wants me to be happy. I am constantly reminded that the only way I can truly be happy is through the Gospel of Jesus Christ that is taught in the Book of Mormon. Only through those truths can I live with my family forever and have eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

My whole life is centered around my faith. The friends I hang out with are people that share my belief's, my family wakes up early to do family scriptures study every morning, and prayer time is anytime that I need help or comfort or just need to tell my Father in Heaven how much I love him. I love being able to walk outside and say hi to my neighbors because we're friends inside and outside the church building.
