Hi I'm Amber

I was born in Canada. I've been dancing for 10 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest child, in a family of five children. I am 19, a Junior in college, and am leaving next month for my mission in Posadas, Argentina. And I am a big believer in living life to the fullest. I absolutely love traveling, exploring, trying new things, meeting new people, dancing, and being outdoors. And what's more is that I love sharing these things and other things that make me happy with other people. I want them to feel and share my happiness, joy, and passion. I believe this is the soul reason why I dance, perform, and teach dance. I have been dancing for 10 years. Over the years, I have learned Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Ballroom, Latin-Ballroom, Swing, social Latin, and a bit of Blues, Flat-footing, and Irish-Step dance. The more different types of dance I learn, the more my passion grows, and the more I want to teach others about this talent that God has blessed me with.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that love and happiness are the key to life. Because of this gospel I believe that families can be together forever in the next life. We will be able to see loved ones who have passed on again in their perfect state. In Heaven everyone will have a perfect body, without blemish or sickness. I am a Mormon because I have felt the peace that Jesus Christ's Atonement brings. I know that through repentance we can be forgiven of our sins. There is no sin that you cannot be forgiven of through the Atonement. I have felt the literal weight weighing down on my spirit because of sin. But I have also felt that weight lifted off of my shoulders by Jesus Christ. I know that Christ can take our sins from us so we don't have to carry that burden. Christ will forgive us and forget our sins. Through Him we can be perfected. It is because of these reasons why I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I teach a Primary class of children ages 4-5. I enjoy singing Hymns of praise at church with my family and friends. I am leaving next month to serve a volunteer mission for this church in Posadas, Argentina. And I love doing service for others and sharing with others the joy I receive from this gospel.
