Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in the Mormon Colonies in Mexico! I love music! I love life! I'm a missionary! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small farming town in Mexico. It's a small, tight-knit community and a fun place to live. All you hear are the crickets at night, and the birds singing in the morning. One of my favorite places on earth is my dad's orchard; he grows apples and peaches and occasionally cayenne peppers to spice things up! I am the baby in a family of seven. I have five older brothers and one older sister, all of whom I look up to, both in height and in life. My parents taught us well, and raised us all in a home of hardwork, music, fun times, and love. We enjoy doing everything together as a family. We love to watch all sports and get beat by my dad at basketball! We all love to sing and dance and make music!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that has a long line of being in the church. My parents worked hard to make the gospel of Jesus Christ and His teachings the center of our home. Along with the deep faith of my family, I am a Mormon because I know how amazing it feels when we are truly doing what our Heavenly Father wants us to do. He just wants us to be happy! He has a plan for all of us to grow and one day come back to Him after this life on Earth. Every one of us makes mistakes, but I feel our Savior's love for us when we take something wrong and make it right. I know this is the true church; I have gained faith from personal experiences. I am so grateful to have this Gospel and personal testimony. It helps give me direction and perspective so I can return to My Father in Heaven with the ones I love.

How I live my faith

I think the best way to live what I believe is just through service to others and being happy! In the past I have served in a couple callings, but one of my favorites was music chairman. I got to know people in my ward so much better, work with music, and help them share their testimony of the Gospel through their amazing talents! I am currently serving as missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Los Angeles, California! Part of this calling is to serve in the Los Angeles Temple Visitors' Center! So far it's been the best time of my life! :)
