Hi I'm Lilly

I was born and raised in Florida. I'm a makeup artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

You could consider me very artistic. Have been ever since I could remember. Must come from being left-handed and being born and raised in Walt Disney World. I have dabbled in all sorts of art forms in my life. Musical Theatre, Choir, Dance, art classes, cooking, fashion, and of course make up artistry. Yes I'm the kind of girl that owns 20 pairs of red lipstick, any color of eye shadow you could possibly imagine and far too many brushes. What can I say, it comes with the job. I believe in using makeup to help women see how beautiful they already are, not to make them beautiful.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church all my life. So my story might be a bit different from someone who was converted. But at some point in everyone's life (even if they were raised in the church) has a conversion story. Mine was when I was in high school. I never stopped believing in everything I've been taught in the church. I had a strong faith. But out of sheer laziness I stopped going. You start to notice how much different your life is when you don't go to church. First off you feel like something is missing from you're life. You also don't feel as protected from the outside world. I truly noticed how important it is to go to church when my grandmother died. It was my first loss and I felt so alone with no comfort throughout the whole time she was dying. I realized then that the not having the church in your life doesn't make it easier to fight trials or make life better. In fact, it's so much worse. The church is such a wonderful place to be. You remember how much love our Heavenly Father has for you and our savior, Jesus Christ. They have done so many things for me. It's because of the church I met the love of my life. Someone I have been waiting for and wanting my whole life. He listens to me and loves me. He's a comforter when things get hard. I am always happy. My life isn't perfect but I'm always happy. It's one of those never ending blessings that he gives us.

How I live my faith

I represent all the young single adults of my ward. What that means is I'm in charge of inviting people to activities, classes, and the occasional dance and monthly mingle parties. It's not easy to join the church by yourself at a young age with no friends. So I'm here to help.
