Hi I'm Matt Holdaway

I live in Northern Virginia, was a student at BYU and am now serving a full time Mission in Aguascalientes Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Northern Virginia and now attend BYU. I will be serving a full time mission this September in Mexico and I am so excited! I have two older brothers and a dog named Toby. I enjoy watching sports, art, school all amongst other things!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that I am a better version of myself when abiding by the Gospel and striving to live like Jesus. Like everyone I've messed up many times before in my life and the promise of a clean slate through the Atonement of Jesus Christ and repentance is one of hope and joy that I love and want to share. The knowledge that my family can be together forever is one that I love sharing with others. I know by abiding to our Heavenly Father's commandments and as well as constant diligence and commitment to become like Christ will change and transform our lives for the better.

How I live my faith

In my involvement in the church I am a ward missionary in the local singles ward. This is a great opportunity for me to teach lessons on Sunday and teach investigators with the full time missionaries in the area. I get the wonderful opportunity to see investigators grow and change and come to love the Gospel.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Matt Holdaway
The missionaries will teach about the restoration of Christ's true church on the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith and why it is important to you. They will listen to your concerns and help you understand how to overcome challenges through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and knowledge of God's plan for you. The message is one of hope and change and of love for God and for your family. Show more Show less
