Hi I'm Emma Engebretsen

I grew up in Alaska and recently moved to Utah. I'm a Mormon and LOVE my family.

About Me

I grew up in Alaska and have three siblings that were adopted from Taiwan a few years ago. Family is very important me. Despite the craziness of 8, 9, and 10 year olds, they're still my number one! The memories and interactions make it all worth it. I love sports, especially soccer, volleyball, and cross country skiing. Being outside is a priority. I love the mountains and sunshine and beaches. I could play around in the water for all day long. I also like singing. The friendships I've made over the years have helped and strengthened me so much. People are awesome!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. It was a habit to attend church as a kid, but it wasn't until my teen years that I began to develop a strong testimony of the gospel. The Atonement and ability we have to progress and come closer to God are a foundational part of my testimony. Making mistakes, learning, getting back up, and sharing what gives me peace and makes me happy is very important to me. God's love for me is infinite. He knows us all individually... perfectly! That brings me so much purpose and hope in my life and communicating to others through word and deed my beliefs is one way I can show God my gratitude and love for Him.

How I live my faith

I have visit taught before. This is a great chance for me to check up on people and develop stronger relationships with them through the gospel. It's a neat opportunity to really connect with people and learn from their testimonies.
