Hi I'm William

I grew up a Mormon in Orem, UT. I love to run. Life is Good and God is Good.

About Me

I thoroughly enjoy running and honestly the longer the better. I recently graduated from High School and can't wait to begin my next big adventure as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for the people of Nagoya Japan. When I return home from my mission I will be attending a university where I will both run and serve the Lord. I love to eat and sleep and feel like I don't get enough of either. Music always makes me happy and feel good. Life is Good and I encourage all to remember that daily.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised up in the Church and was taught from a young age what it means to be a Mormon. This was all great until I needed to figure out myself if everything I was taught was true. I prayed once and did not receive an answer. This shocked me because I was taught that God always answered prayers. This planted seeds of doubt in my heart for a long time and I felt that this church was no longer for me, but eventually I came to realize that God has been deeply a part of my life ever since I was young. All I had to do was remember the blessings I know must have come from Him and remember that I was His son with divine potential for good. I never had a experience that forced me to believe beyond a shadow of a doubt, but by remembering what He has done for me and remembering the joy I feel as I actively strive to be a worthy member of His church I cannot deny that I love Him and He loves me. I know that loves us all and that if ever we are in need of comfort or assistance through life all we need to do is remember our blessings and pray to God for guidance. He will always be there for you and me.

How I live my faith

I love to be an example of what I believe. Sometimes I fall short of the standards laid down by our prophets, but I strive to be more like my Savior in everything I do. As a member of this church I have served in various capacities like being in leadership positions over other boys my age and as a pianist for meetings as well as being part of a committee that helped plan out activities which would bring together youth from around our community. I love to serve and always accept the charge to go out and help others.
