Hi I'm Aubree Willardson

I am a Californian. I am a daughter of God. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up about a half an hour from the beach on the central coast in California and I loved it. Because I lived so close to the ocean, I had the opportunity to learn how to scuba dive and really appreciate the wildlife and the beauty of the ocean. The area is also very involved in agriculture so I grew up around horses and livestock as well, which I love to be around and ride. When I return home from my mission in Peru, I plan to get married and go to college to become an ultrasound technician.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born, both of my parents were (and still are) active members of the LDS church. Over time, I have gained a testimony by the mercy of the Lord and the promptings and feelings of the spirit. I know, from experience, that this is the Christ's true church on the earth today. I have been able to testify of that through the way that I live. I am so thankful that I have the blessing of knowing that I can communicate with my Father in Heaven through prayer. I know that He listens to me and blesses me. I, like a lot of people, have doubted in my faith before but as I continued in obedience, the Lord blessed me so much more and now I have a firm testimony in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and Our Father in Heaven. I love them both so much and wouldn't trade anything in this world for the experiences and knowledge that have been so graciously given to me. I love this gospel with all of my heart. It gives me knowledge, power, hope, love, compassion, empathy, a spirit of service, and an eternal perspective that I am most grateful for.

How I live my faith

I love going to church! I have been entrusted with the amazing responsibility of planning and coordinating activities for the young adults that I go to church with. It has been such a blessing and an awesome experience to work with unfamiliar people to get to know them better. I go to church every Sunday and usually am with the young single adults. Sometimes I go with my family but most of the time, now that I am older, I go with the young single adults. I really enjoy my visiting teachers. They have helped me truly understand the importance of fulfilling the assignments we are given as women to visit other people. I love hearing the words of our prophet Thomas S. Monson and the testimonies and council of our local leaders as well. I do my best every day to become more like my Savior Jesus Christ and know that I can become more like Him by serving my family and friends.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

Aubree Willardson
We believe that God is Our Father. We believe He is kind, merciful, and most of all loving. We believe He is trusting and full of faith Himself. We believe that we are created in His image and that we are most valued of all of His creations. We believe He knows us personally, by name, and He loves us personally as well. He has a plan for each of us to get back to live with Him, if we will only follow His plan for us. I know this is true. Show more Show less
