Hi I'm Ruth Hardy

I love to dance in the kitchen with my siblings. I want to be a humanitarian worker. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love music, dancing to it in the kitchen, playing it on my viola, and singing it around my mom's piano. My goal in life is to be a humanitarian worker abroad. I am a college student trying to figure out what to study. And I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents are active members, thus I grew up in a home where living this Gospel was a big part of our lives. When I graduated High School, I moved away from my family and friends to work in Wyoming. There weren't many members where I lived so there was no pressure for me to go to Church if I didn't want to, but I still went. Why? Because I know that the gospel my parents helped me live as a child, is a gospel I want to live for the rest of my life. It brings an assurance of God's love for me and my infinite worth in His eyes. Without the knowledge of His gospel and His love, I would be lost in life. No my life is not always easy, but it is easier due to my faith. Because of this Gospel, I know who I am. Because of this Gospel, I am happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following God's commandments as given through the Book of Mormon and living prophets. I attend church every Sunday and attend the Temple regularly. I am a member of my ward's activity committee, and help plan a lunch once a month for everyone in my ward. I do not get paid but I love being able to volunteer my time and talents for the members.
