Hi I'm Lauren

I grew up in the Las Vegas desert. I'm serving in the Guatemala City South mission. I love the gospel and my family. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five girls and family is super important to me. I've been going to college the past year, but have put school on hold to serve a mission. In high school I was the student body president, and enjoyed serving the student body. I love to read, go zip-lining, listen to music and create playlists. I love taking pictures and having fun with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. It makes me a better person. Everyday I strive to live the commandments and teachings of Jesus Christ. God is our Heavenly Father who loves each and every one of us, and he knows each of us personally. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and brother, and that he died to atone for our sins. Because of Christ we can atone for our sins and become better people. I love the temple, because in the temple we can be eternal families, together for time and all eternity. I love the gospel and am grateful for our living prophet today, Thomas S. Monson. His words and teachings to us helps me strive to become a better person and live my life in harmony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that if you take the time to read it and learn the gospel, it will change your life if you let it. I am so grateful for this gospel and I'm proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day in my actions. Living the commandments of God brings me true happiness, as does studying the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I love serving others and everyday I strive to be the best person I can be. Before my mission, I was a gospel teacher for those 18 and older in my ward, which was such a rewarding opportunity to teach and discuss with others the teachings of Jesus Christ.
