Hi I'm Maren

I love music. I play the piano, the flute, and the cello. I grew up on the West side of the States. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live here in Idaho getting an education. I have lived in four different states so far, but my childhood was in Washington. I grew up on a farm in a small town, with plenty of things to get me into trouble. As I have graduated from high school, I have found myself in a variety of jobs. I have been an ice cream maker, a clerk, and a sushi bar helper. I have met people from all over the world, and I love all of them! The friends we make teach us so many things.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ is the most integral part of who I am. It's all I have been, and without it I would not know who I would be. The values and standards have shaped the way I live my life, even when others around me live theirs differently. I have been a kinder person because of it. I know this Church is true, because I have felt it through the Holy Spirit. I have read the Book of Mormon, and there is not a truer book on Earth. And when you know something is true, you live by it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping others, and following the standards of Christ. I follow His example the best that I can. I have been preparing for a mission by reading and studying my scriptures more ponderously, and being more diligent in following His commandments. I teach a class once a month on some of the doctrines of our church to the women in the church. I also organize and plan fun activities so that the women of the church can get to know each other better and be able to support each other.
