Hi I'm Ethan

I'm a musician. I love to play volleyball and frisbee. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a younger brother who I have a ton of fun with. I was born in Provo, Utah and am currently living on Long Island, New York. I am a lover of music, and I play the piano and the string bass. I went on the Boy Scout Jamboree that marked the 100 year anniversary of scouting in Virginia when I was twelve, and I am now an Eagle Scout. For our family vacation last summer we went amusement park hopping and it was a blast! My family loves roller coasters and spending time together so it was a great memory to have together. I will be attending Brigham Young University once I return from serving a mission in Rome, Italy. I would love to travel the world if I ever get the chance to.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were born into the church and so was I. However I have come to know for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's Church and the only true church on the earth today. We have a living prophet of God who receives revelation for the church, and as we pray to Heavenly Father and bring Him our questions, He will help us gain more understanding through personal revelations from the Holy Ghost. The joy that the knowledge of the gospel brings into my life is indescribable and I am so grateful for the blessing of it in my life. For the confusing times that we live in today, it is nice to have my foundation built upon Jesus Christ, and know that I can be safe from the things of the world, especially within the walls of my own home.

How I live my faith

The end goal is to Come Unto Christ and be even as He is. Am I perfect at this? Of course not, nobody is. But I continually try to be kind to others and think of them before myself. It is important not to judge others, but to be their friend and to help and serve them in anyway you can. I help to teach the lessons among the young men in my church and I try to be the best example for them that I can be.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Of course not, we love to help everyone! There has been lots of assistance to humanitarian aid in other countries from the church. When Hurricane Sandy hit Long Island back in 2012, people from my church went out helping people as much as we could. We helped clear debris from homes, empty out flooded basements and garages, and provided meals who became homeless from the storm. We're always happy and ready to serve. Show more Show less
