Hi I'm Tom

I was born in Los Angeles. I married a beautiful girl I met at BYU. We had a large family and are very happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spent my life working for the Boy Scouts of America. I am now retired but I still love hiking and backpacking. I also love music and photography. I have been a band leader and a drum major. I marched in the Pasadena Rose Parade. My happiest accomplishment is having a family. I met my wife while at college. She gave me 11 beautiful, happy children who are now all married and building their own families. All of us love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and have served missions for our church. We have friends all over the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in Los Angeles in an active LDS family and have always loved the Church. Because of the teachings of the restored gospel as I learned them in the Church, I have found a great love for my Savior Jesus Christ, and I feel God's presence strongly in my daily life. The doctrines of the gospel and the blessings provided through the Church bring me joy, peace of mind, guidance, and strength.

How I live my faith

Since my wife and I retired in 2010, we have been serving full time missions for the Church. As couple missionaries we have served the inner city of Detroit, we have supported the hundreds of missionaries in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and northern Italy, and we serve now full time in the Temple in Freiberg, Saxony.
