Hi I'm Austin Dayton

I was raised in the south. I work at Augusta National Golf Course. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love everything from hiking, kayaking and surfing all the way to tennis and golfing. I just finished my second semester at Brigham Young University Hawaii. Living in Hawaii I have been able to find everything I love in a beautiful environment. I am currently a bio-med major and a history minor. I plan on attending medical school and becoming a pediatrician. I am currently serving a mission in the Washington Everett Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My favorite part about being a Mormon is that if i am obedient in my faith that is where I find most happiness. It would be selfish of me not to share that same opportunity of happiness with others. This faith doesn't consume my life instead it guides, warns, aids, teaches and blesses me in all I do. Often if I am in a state of sadness or loneliness I also find my self relaxing my efforts in following Christ. I know that with every guild line and restriction in the church comes blessing from heaving far beyond the sacrifice we make.

How I live my faith

Living in the South in Georgia being a Mormon is a foreign thing for most people. One of my favorite things in being a part of a school and a community is to just live my life as Christ would. Often when people find out I am Mormon they seem surprised that i'm not what they had been told Mormons were like. Being a Mormon is just being an example of Christ. In my Church each member receives duties, My job is to organize the building cleaning schedule to make sure the church stays in a condition where the love of Christ can be felt in a clean environment.
