Hi I'm Brit

I'm from Springville Utah. I love mountains and sunny days. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 19 old happily living in Austria. I moved here with family from Utah the summer that I graduated high school. I love being the mountains, which luckily there are an abundance of in Austria. I love skiing in the winter, and hiking in the summer. I recently rediscovered how much fun biking is, and I'm excited to give mountain biking a try. I also love food! I've always enjoyed making it and eating it and I've been helping out in the kitchen as long as I can remember. My mom is also kind of a health nut so in the past couple of months we've being learning how to cook lots of new recipes and healthy foods. Ex: Cauliflower "rice" which I think is the best thing since sliced bread! It totally tastes like rice but it's a lot healthier. I'm also a soccer fan about every 4 years, during the world cup, and due to my Germany heritage (my dad is from Germany) we always cheer for Germany. I also love playing a gave of pick up soccer when ever time allows.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the book of Mormon, because I have read this book and I know that the words inside are true. I am in no means a perfect Mormon. I still have questions about the church but I know enough to know I want to be apart of it, and it is because of this book. The truths inside help me daily to become more like my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that if you take the time to read this book with a sincere heart you learn that it is true.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith and come closer to Christ on a daily basis. For me this includes daily study of the scriptures (where I especially focus on the book of Mormon) and prayer. I also attend church meetings every Sunday which consists 3 hours of a sacrament meeting and doctrinal classes. I love going to church, it builds my faith, and I love and enjoy the relationships I have made with other church members through attending. As part of being member of the church every able member is given a church calling. A calling is basically just a job or responsibility in the church that helps the church fun.
