Hi I'm Deanna

I am from Texas and attend school at BYU-Hawaii.

About Me

I'm passionate about music, doing anything outdoors and adventure. I love to get out and just see all the beauty this world has to offer. I attended a year of school at BYU-Hawaii which gave me one of the greatest experiences to do what I love. I was studying bio-med there and plan on doing something in the medical field later. I will continue school at BYU in Provo when I get back from my mission for the church!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but I never had a strong testimony of it. It wasn't until a few years ago where I grew a testimony of the principles of the gospel. Difficult trials led me to turn to the Lord and to The Book of Mormon for comfort and guidance. It wasn't until then that helped me gain an understanding of how The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's church here on earth today. My prayers of whether these teachings are true have been manifested to me with studying and also by faith through the Holy Ghost. I can say without a doubt that this is the true church of Heavenly Father. The same church Christ established while he was here on earth. This church brings infinite guidance to our lives as long as we allow it to.

How I live my faith

One of the most important things about church is going each week. This is how our relationship with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are continually strengthened. This is the way I am living the faith. Going to church every week helps keep me be spiritually fed along with daily personal scripture study.
