Hi I'm Hunter

I grew up in the United States. I have been a part of multiple sports teams, and school clubs. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a place with not a very large amount of Mormons. Growing up I have been involved in just about anything I possibly can. I have always had a love for sports. I have done Football, basketball, wrestling, track, cross country, and baseball. The sport that I am most passionate about is baseball. At my school, I have held multiple class officer positions and have been honored many awards from those at the school I attended. I have been involved in many clubs, a couple including 4-H and national honors society. My family is big into hunting, and just about any outdoor activities. I am the type of person who never stops going, and I am a perfectionist.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church, many of my friends have thought that I am only a Mormon because my parents and the rest of my family are. For a while, they were probably right because I hadn't gained a testimony of my own. Growing up in the church, everything became so normal. I just thought that's how things were and there wasn't anything different. I couldn't see the importance of it. I was always just going through the motions, and didn't really care. After time, I finally gained my own personal testimony. Members of the church inspired me, and because of them I began to feast upon the scriptures. I began to understand and truly feel the spirit. I prayed to Heavenly father, and asked if these things were true. He answered me! Not all at once, but gradually over time. Now I can say that I know these things are true, and will always strive to live righteously. I will do my best to magnify my calling. I know that this church, and everything that comes with it are true. I testify of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I feel that I am very strong in my faith. I have always been known to lead by example. I have never been very outspoken, but people seem to listen well to the things that I say. I am constantly participating in all types of things in my church. I tend to be a young man that a lot of the younger men look up to. I strive to do the best that I possibly can in everything that I do. I love to help those who need any type of help. I always try to work hard and to act in a manner that Jesus Christ would. Lately, I often go out with the missionaries to help them teach people. It is so amazing to be a part of bringing people to our loving Lord, Jesus Christ. I live righteously, and I think that others around me, who aren't members of the church, can clearly see that. Soon, I will be leaving to serve in the Utah Provo mission as a missionary, and representative of Jesus Christ. I cannot wait to proclaim the word of the restored gospel to the people of Utah.
