Hi I'm Abby

I grew up in Utah. I trained to become a Police Officer for a few years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student, and I am studying biology in hopes of one day becoming a scientist. I worked at a Police Department for a couple of years, thinking that it may be a career that I would be interested in, but decided against it, but I have all the respect in the world for those people who serve the public. I love to read and write as well as backpack and hike. I am about to depart on an LDS mission to Orlando, Florida.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this church is THE restored church of Jesus Christ on this Earth. I know it without a doubt. Even now I feel the spirit testify this to me. Through various trials in my life, I have seen the Lord help me endure and have seen His hand wash away my mistakes when I did not endure well. I am a Mormon because I feel the happiness and meaning that it brings to my life and to the lives of those around me. I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ suffered for me and I can never repay that debt. I am a Mormon because I need to try. I'm a Mormon because I feel of the love that my Savior and Heavenly Father feel for me and for each one of his children.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and was a teacher in one of the classes for the women in my area when I was living near my college. Now I am preparing to serve a mission in the Orlando, Florida area, where I can serve those choice people and bring them unto Christ.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being Mormon is like being filled with hope all of the time. Because I'm Mormon, I know how to increase my Joy through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know what will happen when I die. I know that there's always someone who has my back. It's just great feelings all around. :) Show more Show less
