Hi I'm Caleb

I grew up in Southern Utah. I love sports, competition, and school. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I just got my mission call a month before graduating from high school. Now that graduation is done with I am preparing to serve my mission in Eugene, Oregon, it is all that I can think about! Some of my favorite things to do include: Ultimate Frisbee, basketball, running, disc golf, and spending time with my family. My immediate family consists of three older sisters (two married, so two brothers-in-law), two younger brothers, and one nephew. One of my favorite activities to do with them is to play card games. Along with card games comes the love of music in my family. Getting together to go caroling during Christmas time has always been a fond memory of my childhood.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born into a family that lives the gospel it was not hard to get a grasp of the truths that are taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As I was taught all of these simple principles and scripture stories I felt the Holy Ghost bearing witness to me that these things were true. Having this gospel has helped to guide my everyday life. I know that I am a happier and more successful person because I have remained firm in the faith of the "Mormon" church and what it stands for.

How I live my faith

Everyday I try to share the light of the gospel through my example. Doing small acts of service to show the love that I have for people is one of the greatest tools for spreading happiness. A simple smile goes a long way, I have seen that throughout my life. Oftentimes a grin can give people a source of optimism or hope that can brighten their day. Having this gospel of Jesus Christ in my life makes me happy, and I want to share that with every person that I meet. That is why I left on a mission for the church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
