Hi I'm Bruce

I grew up in Utah and Alabama. I am retired from working in the space and commercial rocket manufacturing. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah, but as a young teen my family moved to Alabama. This was at a critical time in our country's history. I wasn't very enthused to move and leave my friends. I soon found that I made new friends that their families had relocated there, too. They have become my life long friends. After being married for several years, I moved our small family to Utah and raised my family in the rural northern region of Utah. I have been fortunate for the many opportunities that I have had to meet and make new friends and acquaintances. It has helped me become a better person.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents that were Mormons. There were times that as a family we didn't participate as faithfully as we should have. But I had loving and concerned teachers that helped me to feel wanted and loved. My family became very faithful and I was always given the freedom to choose my course of faith. There are numerous spiritual experiences that have touched my soul. I chose to serve as a missionary as a young man. The rewarding experience of that service was to help many families in their journey. I have studied and prayed, and have found answers to profound questions concerning life, and what is required of me. The feelings within are hard to describe, but when you hear and feel that which is within, you know that you are doing that which is right.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities as a Mormon to serve. I have served as a scout leader, a sports leader, and have had many teaching opportunities. I have learned that I feel most valuable when I'm serving others. My faith grows as I serve.
