Hi I'm Justin

I grew up in Blackfoot, Idaho. I have a love of the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies include reading, shooting, and basically everything that can be done outside. I have been accepted to a college that has my specific major, which is mechanical engineering. I have grown to enjoy learning and challenging myself in new ways. I have started two small businesses and I have also competed in We The People at the national level. I am now a missionary and I am serving in the Marshall Islands Majuro Mission speaking Kiribati.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I have still chosen to follow it on my own. Having this influence all my life helped me to my conversion, but it wasn't all that happened. There came a point in my life where I decided that I should actually find out if this church is true, and that was when I found out that it is. I diligently searched the scriptures, prayed, and fasted in the hopes that I could receive an answer. And despite my previous transgressions and uncertainty, I felt it in my heart and soul that this gospel is completely correct. Because of this gospel I have obtained greater knowledge, and through the atonement all of my previous guilt and sin have been swept away and replaced with a confidence that I could find no where else. I know that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ, and that he translated the Book of Mormon by the powers of heaven. He restored Christ's church to the Earth, and if we follow what is taught in this church we shall find eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I have personally supported a community dinner table where I live. Along with this, I have served my community in various ways for most of my life. Most of the callings which I have had in my ward have been leadership positions for my age group, but I have also helped with family history. I have taught sunday school classes, mostly ones of my peers, and put together larger events to assist people with their family history. Also, I am now serving a 2 year mission.
