Hi I'm Randee

I live in Arizona. I am in high school. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to be a senior in highschool. I play two sports, softball and volleyball. I believe in hardwork no matter what I am doing. Because of this I am always trying my hardest in school and sports, and have been able to reap the rewards.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon household and since I can remember have said my prayers and attended church. I had never actually questioned whether or not this church was true until I reached highschool. At this point I started attending Seminary every morning before school where I would have a lesson on the scriptures. No matter how hard it was to stay awake or listen, I was able to gain a better understanding of our Gospel. I learned that our God is a loving God who will always try to find ways to bless us. During highschool I have gained a strong testimony in prayer. During any sporting event I find myself constantly praying to Heavenly Father asking for strength and guidance. This, I believe, has helped me understand His love for me. I have learned how important faith is in our lives also. There is nothing scarier or more stressful to me than taking final exams. Once they are taken the grade is final. I have spent many late nights studying for these finals and still not feeling prepared. What better way to suppress this feeling than to ask the person that can help me in any way. I learned to put my faith in Heavenly Father knowing that if I did my part and studied and worked all year to know the material that I would get a grade I could be proud of. This is just one way that I have come to know our Heavenly Father. Through him and Jesus Christ I know that my sins can be forgiven and when the time comes that I can live with my family for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I am an active member in many youth activities. I am on a youth leadership council for the youth in my area. I have always taught the other youth many times. The one way I have been able to fully live my faith is through sports. Whether on the softball field or the volleyball court, I make sure to always lift others up and refrain from bad language. This is hard most of the time because I am always the only Mormon on my team. No matter how hard, I know that my Heavenly Father will bless me for trying to be an example. My teamates always try their best to keep the atmosphere as "Mormon friendly" as possible. I have also been able to have many missionary moments.
