Hi I'm Sariah

I grew up in California. I study Public Health at Brigham Young University. I love to laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an avid college student and a dedicated friend. I am passionate about the gospel and I love to share my testimony with others. I love to be outdoors running, hiking, or swimming. I love anything Italian and will never say no when offered a pickle. I am a genuinely happy person and do everything I can to make others feel loved and cared for. Laughing is my favorite hobby and I can get along with just about anyone as long as they can make me giggle (which isn't very difficult). I am a dedicated sister and friend and work hard to fulfill all my duties in life with vigor and joy.

Why I am a Mormon

Many people may think that the reason I am a Mormon is because I was born into this church. While that is certainly true, it is only one tiny reason as to why I am a member of this Church. I had to develop my own testimony and faith or else I would not be writing this today, no matter how righteous my family was or is. I am a Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ live. I know that Joseph Smith restored this church in the Latter-Days and that it is the only true Church on the Earth today. Now some of you may be asking yourselves, how does she know?? Well, the answer is simple. I prayed to know the truth. And the truth was manifest to me by the Holy Ghost through thoughts and feelings that I know came from a source other than myself. I don't have an awe inspiring story that will be passed down for generations to come. My conversion story is simple. I prayed and read the Book of Mormon and found the answers that I was looking for. Although is may sound common, my testimony is firm. I know that God lives. And because of that knowledge, I plan on sharing the truthfulness of this gospel with all within the sound of my voice in Kentucky as a serve a mission for 18 months. This church is so true and Heavenly Father loves each and every one of His children. For these and many other reasons, I am a Mormon and I am loving every second of it. :)

How I live my faith

Living my faith is something that has always been a goal in my daily life. I have served as a president and counselor in various youth presidencies. I also just completed a calling as a service committee co-chair in my Young Single Adult ward in college. In that calling, I organized and carried out service projects and activities for the members of the ward in order to build unity and serve our Savior by serving His sheep. I currently am preparing to serve a full-time mission for the church in Louisville, Kentucky. I am so very excited to continue living my faith in such extensive and purposeful way.
