Hi I'm Cameron Moore

Top of the Mormon to ya!

About Me

From Southern California born and raised, outside is where I spent most of my days. Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool shooting some new films outside the school. When a couple of guys thought they were good, asked me to film them in the neighborhood. It was one little job and it seemed to be clear, I'd be the one in the directors chair. I put in my papers and when the call came near, the paper said France and I didn't fear. If anything I could say that this call was rare, but I thought man lets do it, it's my time to share.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and while growing up I always saw the great influence that the gospel had on my parents. The gospel had brought happiness into my family on a daily basis. That doesn't mean that I never had my doubts about if Heavenly Father really knew who I was or cared about me. I had thought about turning outwards away from the church when I read in John 6:67-69 when the Lord asks his disciples if they will turn away from him also. His disciples respond to him saying "to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the son of the living God." I couldn't turn away from the one person that showed the perfect way. Heavenly Father was always there extending his hand to me saying if I am sorrowful, call upon him with supplication that my heart may be joyful. The gospel saved my life as did the love of a family I am grateful to have supporting me everyday. I'm Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father lives and loves each person. He will never leave us. He will never give up on his children. And he will always provide safety for a soul like mine that was searching for hope.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving in the France, Paris mission. I've grown up in the church and have had a lot of callings and responsibilities. I was called as a ward missionary and had the opportunity to grow relationships among the members and serving them in whatever way I could. I found that I like to help people and put smiles on their faces. Losing myself in the service of others made me feel like a positive force in the world. I loved home teaching with the bishop and sharing the gospel with the people close to me. While serving others I knew that I had to serve as a missionary when I was old enough. Choosing to serve God wasn't always the easiest decision for me but it is the best one.
