Hi I'm Erin

I love to smile. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my first year of college and loved every second of it! I have a passion for learning. I'm an introvert and a bookworm, so I find better company in books than in large groups of people. I also had the privilege of helping my mom and dad take care of foster children in our home for a few years. Loving and caring for these children has helped me come to realize how much I want to make a difference in the world and how much I want to have an impact on other people's lives for the better.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been able to find joy and comfort through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is a comfort for me to be able to know that I always have a Father in Heaven who loves and cares about me. It is also a comfort to know that I have a Savior who understands me perfectly and is always there to help me through difficult times. I know that there is always a source of hope. I have had many stressful and difficult times in my life, but I can testify that I would not have handled it as well without the knowledge of the hope and peace the Savior has to offer. Being a member of this church has brought a light into my life that keeps me moving forward and encourages me to be a better person.

How I live my faith

I have had the privilege of teaching a class of 10-year-old children this summer. I learned so much about the teachings of this church by teaching these children the stories and principles in the scriptures. I have heard that the best way to learn something is to teach it. This has proven to be true for me. I have learned to study the scriptures in a deeper, more meaningful way and I have learned many new things for myself along with my class. I also have the privilege to teach and visit a few women in my neighborhood. Not only is it wonderful to share a spiritual message with them, but it is also a joy to be able to visit and make friends with these women.
