Hi I'm Alexis Bergman

I am your average college student. I am serving my mission Omaha Nebraska. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am your average 19 year old young women. I go to college and work everyday. I have a crazy fascination with nature. Anything outside is fun to me such as fishing, hiking, etc. I love traveling and experiencing new things. My family is very important to me. I strive to be a better person everyday because like everyone else I am far from perfect. I am preparing to serve a LDS mission and couldn't me more excited to share the truthfulness, plainness, and happiness of the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know with every fiber of my being that this is the true church. It tells us in the Book of Mormon many time to ask of God. I have read the Book of Mormon and sincerely prayed to my Father in Heaven if this is the true church. I was overcome with a peace that is hard to explain. As I have grown up I have made a few mistakes. There were times where I wasn't living the gospel as well as I should have been. When I do try my best in all my doings and fully live the gospel, life is easier and I am happier. I have seen so many miracles with the priesthood that there is no way I could deny that this is true. I have felt Christ love for me so strongly and I know all he wants is our happiness. I am a Mormon because this gospel has blessed my life more than I deserve. I am Mormon because when I couldn't find happiness the gospel helped me to find it. I am Mormon because I love all of the teachings and blessings that it offers. I am Mormon because God was kind enough to show me this is the right path.

How I live my faith

Living the gospel isn't always easy, but they say the harder you work at things the more rewarding they are. As Mormons we are representatives of Christ and his church. I think a great way to show my faith is to try to best represent him. This means being kind to everyone you meet, serving others, and have a love for ALL of God's children. Being an example of ALL of the principals taught, and trying your best to be your best. I am so much happier when I am doing these things, and I can see the blessing that it has brought me! I have 3 callings in my ward. I know that trying to fulfill these to the best of my ability has brought me blessing and helped me come closer to many of my ward members.
