Hi I'm Hanna Adams

I'm from Las Vegas and I love cards. I'm serving an LDS mission in Rome Italy which means I kinda love pizza too. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love calculus. In high school I learned to love math and try to figure out the way things work. Now I am an engineering student at Utah State University. It's a lot colder than where I am from, but I like the change. I was a leader in high school and love making a difference in my community. I'm competitive, I am a distance runner; I play games and love strategizing.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel is the light in my life. My conversion to the gospel cannot be pinpointed or captured in one day or experience, but has been a collage or layering of experiences and impressions over time. I was baptized when I was 8 years old and although I was obedient for the most part, I never pondered the gospel or had the desire to study it until my senior year of high school. I try every day to look at others the way our Heavenly Father sees them. Christ has inspired me. He has saved me. Through study and prayer I've come to recognize the mindfulness and love the Savior has for me. His divine roll in the Plan of Salvation is central to the gospel. His Atonement is real and he is waiting for us to come unto him with our hardships. The Book of Mormon contains the truth of the gospel and unfolds God's mysteries unto us. It is true. I believe it with all my heart. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever and never moves. When we feel distant from him, it's because we've moved. I continue to follow Christ because it is through him that I can bridge that gap with my Heavenly Father and one day return to him. Christ's willingness and grace is attainable. He is the only way. He wants to help us. The gospel is truly incredible!

How I live my faith

The gospel has given me the opportunity to teach people in the church of all different ages. I am serving an LDS mission in Rome, Italy. I taught a group of 11 year olds before I left up for college. We got to study the New Testament, which gave me more perspective on the life of Christ and his attributes. It made me realize the love our Heavenly Father has for his children. Their innocence and Christ-like love has changed my life. I miss them every day. Since I've been in college I've gotten to teach girls my age, and although it can be intimidating, the Lord always provided me with the spirit. Having the opportunity to teach so much in the church has been a big responsibility with many blessings.
