Hi I'm Erin

I was born and raised in Hawaii. I am a convert to the church. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I did not grow up in the church but did grow up in a loving family. I became interested in the church because of volleyball, genealogy, and a handsome young man who baptized me at age seventeen. The following year we were married. We have been blessed with four children who are now adults and seven grandchildren. I enjoy family time at our small cattle ranch. My other enjoyment is family history and temple work. Currently, I am excited to be a student of Pathway and I am looking forward to furthering my education as an online student of BYU-Idaho this fall in the Family History Research path.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of the church in 1978 and have been an active member since then. We have raised our children in the gospel. I am a Mormon because I believe in God's eternal plan and look forward to seeing my parents again, and their forefathers, who have all left this earthly life. I know through personal experiences that God hears and answers prayers.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by having personal prayers and scripture study. I attend my church meetings on Sundays. I serve in my ward by helping in our boy scout troop as an advancement chairman and helping in our family history center as a consultant.
