Hi I'm Hannah Hulme

I am from San Jose, California and I love it there. I am going to school at Brigham Young University studying music education.

About Me

In August of 2016, I will be going on an LDS mission in Colorado. I am so excited for this opportunity to share the gospel with others and help people come unto Christ. I love going to school and learning, as well as meeting new people and making friends. My favorite season is the summer, because I can relax and enjoy spending time with my family. I love doing activities in the water or going to the beach. I also love music and singing in choirs--I know everyone says that, but that does not change the fact that I love it. I am easy going, and love finding joy in simple things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel so much joy as I continue to live the gospel; life only continues to get better as I grow stronger in my testimony of Jesus Christ. The best thing about life is that we are never done learning, so we must seek knowledge. The gospel provides so much spiritual knowledge that can only grow as we continue to seek for it. In all aspects of life, the Lord can help us! There have been countless times in my life when I have needed strength to overcome various challenges, big or small. I know that I would not have been able to deal with those pressures alone, I needed the Lord's help. He always knows what I am going through and He knows how to help me. As I continue each day to try to improve myself and become more like Christ, I can more easily feel love for others as I feel God's love for me.

How I live my faith

I love getting to know others and hearing their stories, because then I am able to better understand how I can help them. I enjoy serving others and helping them feel loved. There are countless ways to serve others, and I enjoy finding new ways that I can help people. I have been involved in community service activities: teaching special needs children how to play soccer, volunteering at a children's discovery museum, landscape projects, yard work, etc. I also love being part of an LDS ward, where I can serve in my calling and be in charge of certain activities that can help many of us grow closer to Christ. With each experience of helping others, we can always learn so much about ourselves, others, and most importantly, God and His love for us.
