Hi I'm Garrett Garcia

My name is Garrett and I am just a young Mormon boy on my way to becoming a Mormon Soldier.

About Me

I love the life I live. Everyday I wake up in the morning I get on my knees and thank my Father in Heaven for the life that he has given me. I am a senior in High School and I know that my Heavenly Father has watched over me these past few years. Not only am I a Mormon boy, I am also a student athlete. I play Football and Basketball. Those two sports have brought me much happiness in my life. I was extremely blessed to be able to play them. Upon my return from my mission I plan on attending school at Dixie State University studying Law and Criminal Justice. I really enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. Nothing is more important in this world than family. I enjoy going on Vacations all the time. My most favorite Vacations that I have ever been on were the 5 cruises I went on. I sure do love cruising. I mean who wouldn't it's 24 hour eating. That is the life. Speaking of eating and food I really enjoy cooking and making meals. I would love to go to culinary school for some time. I really love music and all that it has to offer. Most people do not know that I love to sing. Singing is a passion of mine. It really brightens my soul. My goal right now is to find a beautiful girl who I can cook for, sing to, and just love unconditionally. However that will have to happen after I return home from my full-time mission to Arequipa Peru. When I read my mission call I fell absolutely in love. So there you have it, just a little view into the life of Garrett Garcia.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. I grew up in the church my entire life. My life wouldn't be the same without this church. I love the wonderful blessings that come with the gospel. This is why I plan on serving a full time mission, so that I can share the blessings of the gospel with those who do not have it. Everyday of my life I pray for the people of Peru. I am beyond excited to be moving on with my life and to start searching for my eternal companion. I love this church with all my heart and soul. I would never deny the power of the Lord just like Abinadi in the book of Mosiah.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best each and everyday to be a better person. My perspective on how I live my faith is determined by how I treat others and myself. I see no point in people being rude to others. No matter how mad you are at someone at least do your best to help others feel good about themselves. When others feel good, I feel good. I'm currently preparing to serve a full-time mission in Arequipa, Peru. Everyday I try to make a difference to be the very best person that I can be. I love what our loving Heavenly Father has done for each one of us. He has shown a large abundance of mercy and love that you can only find through this gospel. I truly am blessed to be here where I am today. I know that without a doubt that this church is true. I wouldn't be at this point in my life without this great and wonderful gospel. The more we humble ourselves as humans and be receptive to what the gospel of Jesus Christ has to offer us the happier we will become.
