Hi I'm Bubba

I am a athletic person, family means everything to me, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm the youngest of the FamBam. I'm really athletic. Family means everything to me. I am my Brothers/Sisters keeper. I'll sacrifice myself for anything. I'll give whatever what's on my back to someone else. I think of other before myself. I put the Lord first in everything I can do to be like my Savior Jesus Christ. I will always honor and cherish where my heritage comes from. I stand for what is right even if I have to stand alone. I'm always in helping hand. Service is what I do best.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. But I always asked myself this question "Are you converted into the church" there's a difference between being born and converted, even members that were born into the church who really think that they were converted. Growing up I barley understood anything but I knew that this was Christ's true church on this earth and I came to know that this is the true church. I'm so proud to be a Mormon and I will stand alone if I have to.

How I live my faith

Everyone lives there faith in different ways. For me?! I like to take my faith out of the box and see what I can do with my faith and to also see what I can strengthen my faith as well. I use my faith in a unique way then others and I'm proud to say that I'm not different from others just how much my faith has grown in the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. My faith will always grow in this Gospel!

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Bubba
Mormon's perform baptisms for the dead so that those that have passed on still have the option to choose to learn the gospel and become a latter-day saint. We are baptized for them so that they have the freedom to choose how they want to live in the post-mortal life. Show more Show less

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Bubba
It's not so much the amount of the percentage we are paying, but we believe that everything that we have is because God has given it to us. Nothing in this world is really ours, how can we take so much from him when all he asks is for 10% back to help the church grow and in turn help others to learn of the true gospel and the wonderful blessings it brings to your life. What is the First Vision?

Bubba
As a young fourteen year old boy having to go through all these others churches with confusion to see which church is true, he came across a verse in the bible (James 1:5) "if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God" so we went into a grove of trees and offered up a prayer, he was answer by "when the light rested upon me, I saw two personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description..." He was told not to join any other church, but to restore Jesus Christ's original church when he was on the earth. Show more Show less
