Hi I'm Meredith Kenney

I love to smile. I'm adopted. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Utah my whole life and I am a sophomore at Utah State University, but I'm still figuring out my major. I love animals and children and want to eventually be part of a profession where I can incorporate animal therapy. I was adopted into and have grown up in an LDS family and I absolutely love my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has truly made me a better person. I had to decide for myself that I wanted to be an actively participating member of this church, and truly know it's doctrine in order for me to fully appreciate having it in my life. That period of time when I wasn't really living my beliefs as well as I should have is when I realized how unhappy I was without this gospel fully in my life. It also helped me know that that is not how I wanted to continue living my life. When I decided to read the Book of Mormon for myself, and seek to gain a better relationship with God and Jesus Christ, that is when I started to experience true joy in my life once more. I am so grateful for this relationship I now have, because my Savior is my rock no matter what happens in my life, and I know God is always there to talk to if I'm willing to turn to him. I'm a Mormon because I truly believe their doctrines, and by being a Mormon I know that I am a better, and extremely happier person than I would be otherwise.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings, as well as living my beliefs on a daily basis. I love to serve others, and over the past couple years I have been able to do a lot of service for those in my community by helping them with family history work as part of my calling, as well as for fun in my spare time. I love to hear what we have been counseled to do by leaders of our church, and try to apply those teachings in my life to help improve different aspects of my life: whether they're social, physical, intellectual, or spiritual changes.
