Hi I'm John

I'm from the endurance capital of the US, I love all things recreational and I'm a mormon

About Me

I grew up in a mainly scientific heavy family, learning a lot about biology. As such, I am working to becoming a horticulturalist. I plan on heading to BYU and then later to a graduate school. I have ten siblings and I have grown up knowing the love of a family, as well as its pain. Ultimately I have been blessed to have been given so many that love me, in a community that has grown to love me as well.

Why I am a Mormon

A few years ago, I would have told you it was because I was born to it, which I am. Now though, it's because I love the message, I love the people, and I love God. The Gospel makes me a better person as a brother, son, and uncle. I love person it has made me to be and will continue to make me. I have great faith in the atonement and of God's existence. Through him, I can constantly be made new. Every dawn is brighter, and every cloud less dark. This church leads me on a path of eternal progression, that I might be like my Heavenly Father. To inherit all that he has and be like him; perfect and loving.

How I live my faith

Currently, I'm new to my current branch but I hope to have a calling soon. My last calling was as a chorister and someone who helped plan and execute activities. These callings were great for me as I love music almost as much as I love plants. It gave me opportunities to lead others in song, an experience I will hold dear always.
