Hi I'm Aaron Day

I was born/raised in California. I am one of two kids. I love to dance, sing & play sports. I want to be a doctor. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Aaron . I am 19 years old and I am a mormon. I have one younger brother and amazing parents who are my absolute fantastic and would never ask for anyone better because you could not get much better than them. I have been at BYU-Hawaii studying Biochemistry and minoring in mathematics. I love sports, music, movies, and anything that is exciting and is outdoorsy. I also love to dance, more specifically swing, salsa, waltz and rumba. I have just recently received my mission call to the Bentonville, Arkansas mission speaking Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because from the very beginning of my existence I knew that my Heavenly Father lives and I knew that He had a plan for me. When I first went to church and learned all of the doctrine I knew that this is the right choice and the right path that I needed to take to return to him. I reflect on my testimony as a child and I believe that in some ways that it is the same but overtime I have been able to learn more about His gospel that I have an even better testimony now. I know that my Redeemer and Savior lives and that this is the true church. I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed about it and I can testify that the words and scriptures in this book are true because the holy ghost, that warm and comforting feeling inside, has testified to me that it is true. I love being apart of this true gospel of Jesus Christ and invite all to come unto him and follow his counsel and teachings. I know that if we all come and follow him that we may have joy and happiness for all of eternity. As we strive to become like him we shall be just like him in heaven and be perfect. For those that are not apart of this church, I would extend an invitation to you to read Moroni 10:3-5 in the Book of Mormon. As you read about it, ponder the words carefully and I can promise you that as you pray to understand if this book is true that the Lord will give you an answer through the Holy Ghost. With this I leave my love to all in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have been a mormon all of my life ever since I was able to go to church. I always knew I had a testimony of Jesus Christ but I wanted to know why. So, as a child, I sat down to pray and as I got to the middle of my prayer, I felt this warm feeling telling me that all that I have read and heard is true. From then on I have never been able to deny that the church is true. I have been able to go to seminary. Seminary is a gospel doctrine class that is early in the morning and lets the kids who are in high school learn the scriptures. Each time I would go I would always feel good and warm inside and was always able to accomplish all of my goals and do well in school. I have been called to serve as a scoutmaster, ward missionary, deacons and teachers president as well as a second assistant in the Priests quorum. Now I am called to serve as a full time missionary for the church and because of this I teach the youth of the church about how to go and serve missions and how to maintain strong and spiritual lives while dealing with the things of the world.
