Hi I'm Mike Vest

I am a Mormon. I love to play sports, train, run, and spend time with family and friends, hike, and be outdoors.

About Me

I enjoy playing all sports. Volleyball, soccer, basketball, or running. I love to hike and be outdoors. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I have decided to serve a mission and I will be serving the people of Samoa for the next two years. I cant wait. I love the gospel and all it offers. Also, I really enjoy training and improving myself fitness-wise. I also enjoy food. My favorite is probably sirloin steak. My favorite color is neon green and my favorite athlete is Simeon Panda.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has always been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. But, I have personally always loved the gospel and all it teaches and offers. I know that no matter what trial or triumph I'm going through I can pray to God to thank or ask. Prayer is a HUGE part of my everyday life. It keeps my mind right and keeps me on the straight and narrow. Although I've done some regrettable things in my life I know my Savior and Heavenly Father love me no matter what. That aspect has gotten me through some tough times and I am grateful for that. I know that when we are obedient in following the prophets and Gods teachings that we are blessed greatly and that we are protected from the adversary also.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being kind and respectful to all those I come in contact with. I believe that simply being nice to people can go a long way and is a perfect way of doing little good in a community. I enjoy meeting new people and inviting them to do fun activities. I don't do a lot of service which I need to start doing more of but I serve in my own ways. With my love of training I have inspired many of my friends to come train with me and they have and many of them have become better physically because of it and even received compliments outside the gym from other peers shortly after training. All in all, I love helping people become their best self. I live my faith by helping and assisting in ways I can and in ways I enjoy and that's how I ultimately try to be like Christ.
