Hi I'm Sarah

Hi! I'm Sarah Brown. I enjoy being outdoors, drawing, and exercising. I like learning new recipes and I love kids. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am attending school at BYU-Idaho and studying to be a physical therapist's assistant. I played several sports in high school and I really enjoy being at the beach. One day, I hope to travel to new places and experience a variety of things like sky diving.

Why I am a Mormon

I am not a Mormon just because my parents are. I believe that the LDS church is true and that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet today. If you were to ask anyone what Mormons are all about, most people would say that they can't do anything. They don't drink or smoke, they believe in premarital sex, and they don't swear. Sure, most Mormons I know are like this, but for a greater purpose. Our lives are centered around Christ and his teachings. Some people may think that we can't do much, but for me, not participating in drinking and staying chaste makes me happy. I know that there is a purpose in this life and by following the teachings of the gospel we can be happy and eventually return to our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

My calling in my YSA ward is ward chorister and I also visit teach. I enjoy music so leading it in sacrament helps me pay more attention to the meaning and message in the hymn and feel the spirit. I also like reaching out to the girls I visit teach. It's nice to know that someone in your ward is willing to listen to you and help you whenever you need it.
