Hi I'm Alex S Parson

I grew up in Layton, Utah, & graduated from Northridge High. I have been called to serve in the Colombia Bogota South Mission.

About Me

I was born on December 1, 1997. I am a triplet with two amazing sisters. I have played many sports throughout my life; some of my favorites are volleyball and basketball which I played in high school. I also love to read all kinds of books. I was involved in Scouting and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. In high school I served as an officer of Health Occupations Students of America.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living the gospel of Jesus Christ brings my family and me much joy and happiness. When I live the gospel, I am happier, kinder to my friends and family, more productive in my daily tasks, and experience a more fulfilling life. Even though I make many mistakes, because of Christ's atoning sacrifice I am able to repent of these mistakes and draw closer to Him. I love this gospel, I love Christ's church, and I love my Savior. I can think of no better way to honor him than sharing this great gospel with the Colombian people and helping them understand the amazing joy that results from living the gospel.

How I live my faith

I have been involved with my church's youth group for the past six years. I love spending time with my peers learning about the gospel and serving others. Most of our time together consists of serving the community around us, learning about the world around us from hikes and backpacking trips, to learning about plumbing and judicial law. I have enjoyed all my many activities from my youth group and various leaders. I also recently received a mission call to serve in the Colombia Bogota South Mission. I am very excited to share the "good news" of Christ's message with the people of Colombia!
