Hi I'm Amy

I teach fourth grade. I am married to my best friend. I want to own my own photography and dress shop business. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love working with kids, that's why I decided to go to school and become a teacher. I have just finished my first year of teaching. During that year, I got engaged, got married and now I'm on my way to a new job and a new house. I love anything outdoors. Some of my favorite things are camping, fishing, hiking, rock climbing and tubbing. I also have a crafty side that includes, painting, sewing and attempting to make things off of pinterest;)

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints. I have grown up a member of the church and have never doubted its truthfulness. Yes I've gone through hard things, and yes I've felt alone. However, even if it took a while to remember, I always had the Lord to rely on. I love that this church teaches of Christ. It teaches you to have faith, to keep trying and to never give up. It teaches you that you always have someone to rely on. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are always there. Even though I can't see them, I can talk to them and I can fell the peace that comes from just doing that. Relying on the Lord has given me the strength to do everything I have done in my life. I am so glad that I have the knowledge the gospel brings. It teaches you how to have faith through trials, how to keep moving when someone you love passes away and how to love all of those around you. I also am so glad that the church is for people who are trying. None of us are perfect, but we can all be a part of this church and learn to become better together. There is always something more to learn. I know my Heavenly Father and Savior are always there for us and I am so thankful for all that they do.

How I live my faith

Right now I participate in my church by teaching children. I get to teach 3-4 year olds about the gospel. Even though they are small I can feel the spirit that they each bring. I also get to be a visiting teacher. This means that I go and talk to other members of our church and see how their doing. We talk about our lives and we also talk about the gospel. This is so fun to do because it helps me meet people and form friendships.
