Hi I'm Michael Roberts

I'm a quarter Japanese, I grew up in Boise Idaho, I love anime and Physics, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love Math and Physics. During high school I studied math every single day. I study electricity, magnetism, and circuit analysis during my lunch break. I want to go to school for a degree in Electrical Engineering. I love anime and Japanese culture. My grandmother was born in Japan, and I love the language and the people. I went to a nerd school for most of my high school career. I enjoy making puns, but most people don't like them, which is why it is so fun. I also love music and playing the piano. I play songs from different video games, anime sound tracks, and songs that just sound cool.

Why I am a Mormon

As I grew up in the church, I believed that the church was true because the doctrine and principles taught in class were pretty logical. Over time I learned of the spiritual side of the gospel and feel a real connection to the spirit and personal relevance to the gospel. I love personal development, and the gospel is the best way I have found to grow temporally and spiritually. I have a testimony that the gospel is true. I know that through Christ and the Book of Mormon I can live up to my full potential.

How I live my faith

I taught the adult Sunday school class for about 6 months before leaving on my mission. I would also go on home teaching visits once a month. I loved the families I would visit and often would teach the lesson or give a message. The gospel always just made sense to me. As I grew up in the church, I believed that the church was true because the doctrine and principles taught in class were pretty logical. Over time I learned of the spiritual side of the gospel and feel a real connection to the spirit and personal relevance to the gospel. It really helped me with some of those questions I had that just didn't seem right.
